H2 electrolysis plant to produce green hydrogen for the first time

RWE invests in mid eight-figure range to construct electrolyser

RWE is investing a sum in the mid eight-figure range to construct an electrolyser for the first time, that will produce green hydrogen. The facility will be built at the site of RWEs Emsland gas-fired power plant in Lingen, Germany.

WEB commissioned its pilot electrolyser plant in Lingen

The facility has a capacity of 14 megawatts (MW) and will use electricity from renewable sources to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen is seen as a key fuel for the future, as it can be used to generate electricity, power vehicles, and heat homes and businesses.
